You’re A Spooktacular Friend

Happy Friday!  I’ve got another Boo creation from the Sweet November Vault at 7 Kids.  Meet Boo Loves Scary Larry, and Boo’s Batty Banner.  These are the cutest little ghosts, don’t you think?  These cuties are available until the 1st of October, at which time they will disappear into the vault once again.  I’ve also added The Spooky Tree, and Full Moon to the scene, and these are from last year’s SN release.  They will also be going into the vault at the end of the month, so you better nab them before they’re gone!  Have a fabulous weekend, my crafty friends!

Happy Halloween Boo’s Pumpkin

Hello!  I hope you’re enjoying your weekend!  Have you heard that it’s time for the Sweet November Vault release at 7 Kids?  This month SN has brought back the oh so sweet Boo, and I personally don’t think I’ve met a cuter ghost!  There are three different Boo images available in this release, but remember the vault is open for a limited time.  You have until the first of October to nab one of these cuties, and then they disappear back into the vault once again.
Today I chose to color Boo’s Pumkin.  I decide to fussy cut him and pair him with a few pieces of Halloween paper I found in my stash.  I just love how simple this was to put together, and I’m so pleased with how it turned out.  This one is going in the mail to my grandson, and I think it will make him smile.  Can’t get any better than that, right?  I hope you’ll get the opportunity to create with these darling ghosts as well. Boo!

Happy Halloween

Hello, and Happy Friday!  Today I’ve decided to get back to the Halloween theme by coloring If You’ve Got It Haunt It, by Picket Fence Studios.  I love the sketchy look of these spooky witches.  I tried to follow the same style of pumpkins the witches are holding when creating the pumpkin patch.  And I thought a moonlit night scene would be the perfect stage for these lovelies to harvest.  It was a fun scene to create, and I hope you enjoy.  Be sure to check out the Picket Fence Studios selection at 7 Kids.  Have a great weekend, my friends!

Adventure Awaits You

Hello!  What a busy week I’ve had.  I journeyed over to the other side of the state to watch my granddaughter for a few days, and loved every minute of it.  But it was a tough week for fitting in crafty time!  Tough maybe, but not impossible!  So with the time I did manage to squeeze in, I chose to create a scene with Lavinia stamps.  I started by creating a background with my gel plate using Catherine Pooler Inks.  I then stamped The Crow Set and Silhouette Thistle with VersaFine Clair Nocturne.  Aren’t these two stamp sets lovely together?  I then softened and framed the scene by blending Distress Ink around the edge,  Finally, I decided to use a circle stencil to blend a moon to highlight the crow.  I love how this turned out.  Clean and simple for sure, but I think effective.
Thank you for stopping by.  Be sure to check out the beautiful selection of Catherine Pooler inks and Lavinia stamps at 7 Kids!

Being Your Friend Is a Treat

Have you had the opportunity to see the adorable Sweet November WitchWees yet?  The September SN digital release at 7 Kids is bringing in the season with an abundance of cuteness!  Today I chose to color Rowena and Jack O’Lantern.  I think Rowena used a wee bit of magic to get her friend up on that branch with her.  She was determined to share her star and moon gazing adventure with a friend!  It was fun bringing out the fall colors.  I hope you enjoy, and be sure to check out these darling images available at 7 Kids!

You Say Witch

Halfway through another week already!  I hope you’re having a fabulous one!  Today I’ve colored Picket Fence Studios’ “Witch, Please”, available at 7 Kids.  Love this pretty witch, and it was so easy to design her into a card!  I blended ink on design paper for the background, and I love how it turned out. I typically use plain white card stock when I blend, but it’s nice how the subtle pattern in the paper created the perfect surface for the moon.  It was fun experimenting a little!  The broom, hat, and top of the dress is already blocked with color, so I chose black ink.  Finally, I added a splash of color to her hair and accessories.  A fun and little bit spooky card, don’t you think?
