Happy Birthday Mia

Well, I’m on the fifth Surprise Party Fairwee out of six that were released from the 7 Kids Sweet November Vault.  Meet Fairwee Mia!  Isn’t she a cutie?  She’s definitely the life of the party tossing confetti and glitter to her heart’s content!  I had fun with this one, using a little different color combination as we head into the Fall Season.  Difficult to fathom, but it’s inevitable.  Fall is actually my favorite season, so I am very happily making the transition.  I hope you’re enjoying these little Fairwees, and that you’ll stop by tomorrow for the last one in the vault.  Remember, they’re only available until the 31st!  See you again soon!

Happy Birthday It’s Party Time

Has your weekend been as relaxing and peaceful as mine has?  I sure hope so!  It’s funny how it’s either so busy in this house that I can hardly keep my head above water, or it’s the extreme opposite.  Doesn’t seem we have an in between.  But I sure do enjoy the quiet times!  As you can see, I’m still coloring away on the Sweet November Surprise Party Fairwees!  Today I’ve colored Fairwee Piper, popping up to let you know she and her friends are only available at 7 Kids until the 31st, at which time the SN vault closes for another month.  These little cuties are addicting, I tell you!  I added a bit of Nuvo Gold Flakes to the gift box, and a couple border stripes as well.  Such a fun application, and I ended up loving the results!  Okay, I better wrap this up.  Dinner is in the kitchen waiting to be prepared!  Thanks, as always, for your visit!

Birthday Wishes

Hello, and happy Friday to you!  A quick post for you today.  I’m still having all kinds of fun coloring these Sweet November Surprise Party Fairwees from 7 Kids.  Today I’ve colored Josie’s Cupcake.  Isn’t she cute perched up on the most sprinkle filled cupcake at the party?  I may have gone a little crazy with the sprinkles, but I couldn’t resist!  And I loved color matching those sprinkles to the design paper I had in my stash.  I think you’d love creating with these Fairwees as well, but remember, they sneak back into the vault on the 31st and will no longer be available.
You know, all this talk about Josie’s Cupcake has inspired me to get in the kitchen and start baking!  Tootle loo, my friends! ♥️

Happy Birthday To You

Hello my crafty friends!  Today I’ve colored another cutie, Emaline, from the Surprise Party FairWees vault opening at 7 Kids.  Six darling little fairies available until the 31st, at which time they fly back to the vault where the door closes.  I’ve had so much fun with these FairWees!  I did a CAS design with Emaline, as her joyful expression and arms filled with gifts steal the show.  A fun project, and it came together so quickly.  Gotta love that!  And, I love and appreciate that you stopped by today!  Until we meet again!

Happy Birthday

Hi there!  I’m so excited to share with you that it’s time again for Sweet November’s Vault release! We’re also celebrating Kelly’s three year anniversary of owning 7 Kids by bringing back all six of the Surprise Party Fairwees who were originally released in 2012.  You can purchase them individually, or as a bundle.  How cool is that?  Today I chose to color Jilly’s Candle, and paired her up with TGF’s Happy Birthday Die Cut sentiment.  I just love this little cutie filled with joy as she dutifully delivers her candle to the birthday celebration!
Finally, I decided keep the background simple with a few pieces of design paper that I color matched with little Jilly.  I’m so pleased with the outcome, and I cannot wait to color up all six Fairwees!  These darling digital images will be available until the 31st at which time the vault closes.  Better hurry, I’d say!

Birthday Wishes

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope you’ve had a great week, and have exciting plans for the weekend!
Today I’ve colored Little Fairies from The Greeting Farm, and also used the TGF Birthday Wishes die as the central focal point of my design.  How do you not love these little cuties?  As soon as this die was released, I thought how sweet these fairies would be as the messengers.  I also found this lovely Basic Grey paper in my stash, and loved the colors!  It’s is so rewarding to match your color medium with Design Papers.  If you love the DP, you’ll undoubtedly love how the colors come together in your finished image and design.
Be sure to check out the 7 Kids Store for their lovely selection of TGF stamps and Die Cuts.  Isn’t it fun how adding to your craft supplies keeps those creative juices going?
Thank you, as always, for stopping by my blog.  See you around the bend!

More Than Words

Hello, and Happy Monday!  I hope your week is starting out to be a fabulous one!  I tried my hand at a bit of no line coloring today with an image from the Picket Fence Studios Beautiful Girls collection.  Jordan Girl has been in my sights to color for a while now, and is available at the 7 Kids Store.  I cannot tell you how much fun she is to create with.  She has such a peaceful expression and stance.  It kind of rubbed off on me while I was coloring her!  I kept it a very clean and simple design, as the image just seemed to demand it.  And the fence is design paper that is has a wood grain that I die cut, and then colored in slats with my Copics.  Overall, I’m pleased with the results, and will definitely be coloring another from the Beautiful Girl collection in the not to distant future!

Be Known For Your Kindness

Hello, my friends!  It has been a crazy busy week, and it felt so good to spend time in my craft room yesterday!  I chose to stamp up my recently purchased The Oracle, and The Crow Set from 7 Kids’  lovely selection of Lavinia stamps.  The background is a blend of Distress Oxides, utilizing the Life Changing Blending Brushes from Picket Fence Studios, also available at 7 Kids!  Finally, I used VersaFine Clair Nocturne to stamp these beautiful images.  And with all the tension in our country recently, I thought this sentiment was an important  message from the wise Oracle.  Hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed crafting this little scene of kindness.  Have a great weekend!
Distress Oxides Used:  Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean, Seedless Preserves, Fossilized Amber, Chipped Sapphire

Hello

Happy Friday!  I have a quick post for you today.  This little Sweet November Fairy Tot was released in May as a gift to those participants of the April SN posting challenge.  Isn’t she a cutie?  I’ve been wanting to color her up ever since I received her, but it seems other projects took precedence.  I was so happy to finally get her on paper and bring her to life!  I started by creating a simple blended background with Distress Ink.  Then colored, fussy cut, and mounted her on the distressed circle that I had die cut.  And, I just love her!
If you’ve never received one of the Fairy Tots, no worries!  Just grab one of  this month’s Flower Faes from the 7 Kids SN Secret Garden release, and join the fun!  I haven’t seen a Fairy Tot yet that I don’t completely adore!
That’s all for today my friends.  I hope you have a crafty weekend!
My apologies, but I did not track the colors I used for this post.

Love You Bunches

Hi there!  It’s the first of the month, and that means it’s time for Sweet November’s latest digital stamp release at 7 Kids Crafts!  The beautiful Summer Garden Collection includes four lovely garden beauties:  Rose, Dahlia, Peony, and Gerbera Daisy.  I chose to color Peony Fae, as it happens to be my favorite flower.  And isn’t she just the most beautiful creature?  I added the extra peonies, buds, and mushrooms also available in this release.  I know I’ve stated this in prior posts, but working with digital stamps truly opens up all kinds of options for scene building.  I love her dreamy expression as she sits on that soft, billowy mushroom with her favored blossoms surrounding her.
You’ll want to be sure and join the 2 day release party in the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook Group.  Amy Young will be offering live tutorials that you won’t want to miss, and there will be games and prizes as well!
As always, I want to thank you for visiting my blog.  Hope you get a chance to enjoy this new release, my friends!
