Good day everyone! This is my final post as a guest designer for 7Kids. It’s been such a pleasure, and I’ve been so grateful for the opportunity. For my final post I chose to color Gorjuss Polar Bear. I do love this sweet image, and 7 Kids has a great supply of Gorjuss Girl Stamps in their store. I chose a CAS layout, and played with new color combos that I ended up being very happy with. Hope you enjoy! Winter Wonderland

Well, it’s the day after Christmas, and I think I got to the other side in one piece!  I hope you and your loved ones had a wonderful holiday, as well! Today I’m very excited to be posting as a guest designer for 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store.  Since I’ve been on a roll with Sweet November’s Snowman release, I thought I’d finish out the collection by coloring up Mr. McFlurry .  Love this playful guy peaking through his wreath, while happily sharing his bounty.  I created a very simple background, allowing him to be the star of the show.  Hope you enjoy!

You Make Anywhere Feel Like Home

Good day to you! Today my card was inspired by a beautiful creation called “Warm And Fuzzy Winter Wishes”, by Nettyscards.  I was looking for ideas for my husband’s Christmas card, and hit the jackpot.  Always so grateful for the sharing that occurs in the crafting community.  I am also a huge Stacey Yacula fan, so I couldn’t get my hands on this “Warm and Feathered Hugs” stamp set fast enough! A little masking, and lots of color in the sky put this cozy duo right where I wanted them.  A fun and rewarding project.  I just hope my husband likes it!  Thanks for stopping by.  Now I’m off to finish up Christmas errands! 🎄

Have a Magical Holiday Season

Hello! I am so excited to be a Guest Designer for 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store. I love 7 Kids! Such a great source for those of us that love to craft! Today I chose to color the lovely little Snowdin from Sweet November's December release. Also included in the release are Freezia, Melton, and Mrs. McFlurry. They all capture the spirit of Christmas so beautifully. I had fun coloring Snowdin and his darling friend. I kept it simple by stamping a few snowflakes, and matching the scene with a bit of my favorite Christmas paper. I hope you enjoy!

Have a Magical Holiday

I’m having too much fun creating cards with Sweet November’s latest release. Can you tell? Today I’ve colored up Freezia again, but with a little different background. I was going to leave her CAS, but decided to get more creative with the background.  "Just Do It", I said to myself.  There are so many beautiful backgrounds being created in the cardmaking world these days.  The only way to learn, is to practice!  In the end, I was happy with how she turned out.  But, I also learned a few things I'd do differently next time.  Half the fun is the challenge!

Happy Holidays Freezia

Well, my husband and I made it to Maui yesterday. It never becomes old getting off the plane and landing in sensory overload. The soft warm air envelopes you, the scent and colors of the flora, and the sounds of the fauna... just immediately puts you in a space of calm. So grateful to be here. I'm sitting on the deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean as I'm sharing this post with you. And, how funny is it that I'm sharing a Snowman in 80 degree weather!! So, today my post is showing off the cuteness of Freezia. She's a Sweet November digital stamp from 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store.  I'm working on my backgrounds, and do need more practice.  But, it was way too fun to color up Freezia and her friends welcoming in the Christmas Season.  Hope you enjoy!

Happy Birthday Darby and Dazzle

My husband and I are headed to Maui tomorrow, so we'll be hittin' the floor running at the crack of dawn. Thought I better get this post done a day early. Making Spirits Bright

Good Morning! 7Kids has just released a lovely set of snowmen by Sweet November. If you love snowmen as much as I do, you will fall in love with these darling ice critters! There are four to choose from, and today I colored up Melton. I saw a sheet of Christmas craft paper using pink and black, loved it, and couldn't resist. So, we'll be calling my little creation Mrs. Melton. Love the little bunny all snugged in her scarf, contemplating the deliciousness of that carrot nose! 'Tis the giving season! A fun card to color, and I can't wait to get going on the others... Snowdin, Freezia, and Mr. McFlurry! Thanks for your visit!

I’m here if you need me

Another gorgeous morning in Central Washington! A little chilly, but the blue sky and bright sunshine has been my motivator this day! My choice of characters for today's post is from the Sweet November digital image collection, found at 7 Kids Craft Store. Queen November is available to purchase, but the Little Fairy Tot was given to everyone that participated in the Sweet November October challenge. Every month a new freebie is offered if you post a Sweet November creation! Too much fun! I enjoyed working this project, but I started out with a much different scene. I initially colored a snowy background, and then worried these little fairies would get too cold!  So I decided to change their environment to a little warmer climate. Jury's still out... I think I probably should have left the snow. I've been informed that fairies do not get cold!! LOL! Anyway, I just love the Sweet November images. So much heart in them. Sending Joy for the Holidays

Hello there! Today I decided to nab TGF's Cutesy Anya (available at 7kids) and put her in a "sweet" little Christmas Card. I love how these TGF characters are so diverse! I think this is the third time I've colored her, each for different occasions.  As you can see, I created a very simple card - but this paper seemed to be the perfect background for her.  Once she landed in this little candy shop, it just didn't need much more embellishment.  So that's it for today, thank you for your visit!

Merry Little Christmas

7 Kids has started a new monthly feature called Sweet November Vault. It is a 24 hour period where they bring back a few archived Sweet November images and convert them to digital format. I am so excited to get my hands on this darling image.  Piper and her Snowman captures the giving spirit of Christmas, which I just adore.  The background is one of many winter scenes I learned from Sandy Allnock’s Winter Wonderland Copic class.  I also so appreciate Amy Young’s tutorial on 7 Kids Facebook group page, sharing techniques that were so helpful when coloring this little scene.  You can find more Christmas/Holiday Sweet November images at the 7 Kids Craft Store.  So, that’s it for today.  Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Anya Merry Christmas

An oldy but goody, my post today is Holiday Anya from The Greeting Farm, which I believe is a retired stamp.  I do adore this sweet little image. Hi there, Pumpkin

A very exciting event has occurred in the craft world, which has motivated me to start sharing my little card creations on my blog again.  My friend Amy has reactivated her Sweet November Stamps, and they are absolutely lovely.  Let me introduce you to Pumpkin Patch Prue.  She is so fun to color, and I do love her white pumpkin patch!  The background is also available for purchase at The Seven Kids Craft Store.  I simply cannot wait to print and color all the beautiful witches in Amy’s new release, so stay tuned!
