Happy Monday to you! This darling mermaid from The Greeting Farm is my second entry in the "H20 Love" Challenge on the TGF Blog for the month of July. The background hearts/bubbles were done with a stencil and Tim Holtz Picket Fence paint. I then did a wash with Distressed Ink - adding a bit of Perfect Pearls powder from Ranger into my watercolor wash to give it a nice iridescent sheen. So fun! And, of course, colored the mermaid, fish, and seaweed with my Copics. And then... found the perfect sentiment! Just really had a lot of fun putting this together. Hope you enjoy! :)
Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
Hair: C10, C8, C6, B39, B29, B24, B21
Tail/Seaweed/Fish: YG21, G40, G00, BG32, B39, B21
Distressed Ink:
Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, Peacock Feathers, Antique Linen, Tea Dye
Lovely card Tracey, her blue hair is gorgeous and the heart bubbles look great! :)
