Hello, and happy Friday to you!  A quick post for you today.  I’m still having all kinds of fun coloring these Sweet November Surprise Party Fairwees from 7 Kids.  Today I’ve colored Josie’s Cupcake.  Isn’t she cute perched up on the most sprinkle filled cupcake at the party?  I may have gone a little crazy with the sprinkles, but I couldn’t resist!  And I loved color matching those sprinkles to the design paper I had in my stash.  I think you’d love creating with these Fairwees as well, but remember, they sneak back into the vault on the 31st and will no longer be available.
You know, all this talk about Josie’s Cupcake has inspired me to get in the kitchen and start baking!  Tootle loo, my friends! ♥️

Happy Birthday To You

Hello my crafty friends!  Today I’ve colored another cutie, Emaline, from the Surprise Party FairWees vault opening at 7 Kids.  Six darling little fairies available until the 31st, at which time they fly back to the vault where the door closes.  I’ve had so much fun with these FairWees!  I did a CAS design with Emaline, as her joyful expression and arms filled with gifts steal the show.  A fun project, and it came together so quickly.  Gotta love that!  And, I love and appreciate that you stopped by today!  Until we meet again!

Happy Friday!  I have a quick post for you today.  This little Sweet November Fairy Tot was released in May as a gift to those participants of the April SN posting challenge.  Isn’t she a cutie?  I’ve been wanting to color her up ever since I received her, but it seems other projects took precedence.  I was so happy to finally get her on paper and bring her to life!  I started by creating a simple blended background with Distress Ink.  Then colored, fussy cut, and mounted her on the distressed circle that I had die cut.  And, I just love her!
If you’ve never received one of the Fairy Tots, no worries!  Just grab one of  this month’s Flower Faes from the 7 Kids SN Secret Garden release, and join the fun!  I haven’t seen a Fairy Tot yet that I don’t completely adore!

Love You Bunches

Hi there!  It’s the first of the month, and that means it’s time for Sweet November’s latest digital stamp release at 7 Kids Crafts!  The beautiful Summer Garden Collection includes four lovely garden beauties:  Rose, Dahlia, Peony, and Gerbera Daisy.  I chose to color Peony Fae, as it happens to be my favorite flower.  And isn’t she just the most beautiful creature?  I added the extra peonies, buds, and mushrooms also available in this release.  I know I’ve stated this in prior posts, but working with digital stamps truly opens up all kinds of options for scene building.  I love her dreamy expression as she sits on that soft, billowy mushroom with her favored blossoms surrounding her.

Hello There Pixies

Sooo excited to share with you that the Sweet November Vault is open, and these sweet Tadpole Pixies are available for the next week at the 7 Kids Store!  Meet Phoebe, Polly, and Lily.  Aren’t they the cutest?  Love their long gangly legs, and the big smiles on their faces.  These beauties sell separately, but the joy with digital stamps is the layout options you’re afforded.  I thought it would be fun to turn these three into a Tadpole Pixie Team United!

I Miss Seaing You

Hello dear crafty friends!  Today I’ve colored the third of three Sweet November mermaids that were a part of the 7 Kids June vault opening.  This is Current Ebbtide and her angelfish friend, Anela.  I love the serene expression on Current’s face, and that her friend has appeared on the scene to be with her.  I experimented with different color combinations this time, and discovered a few that I think I’ll use again!  And, instead of coloring a full background I decided to use a stamp that provided the effect I was looking for.  Clean and simple, and I couldn’t be more pleased.  These beautiful mermaids are available at the 7 Kids store through Monday of next week.  Enjoy!

Hello!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend!  Ever since the Sweet November Vault opened at 7 Kids, I’ve been pretty much consumed with coloring mermaids.  I’m in love!  Today I’ve colored Bubbles Lostlagoon and Palo.  I think Palo is even more in love than I am!  Such a fun scene to create.  I honestly have to say these mermaids are my favorite to create with.  Their beautiful eyes, and gorgeous ‘dos.  The vault is open until the 25th, and then these beauties swim back into the vault and will no longer be available.  I’m so happy to have them as a part of my collection of inspiring images.  So, that is it for today’s post, but I’ll soon be back with another crafty adventure!

A Friend Like You

I’m so excited to share with you that the Sweet November Vault is open again at 7 Kids, and you are going to love the beautiful mermaids that have made their appearance!  Today I’ve colored Pearl Tidepool with her friend Seamoor.  It was so fun and rewarding to create this little scene.  It just makes me want to color the rest of the mermaid beauties!  The vault will remain open until May 25th, at which time the vault closes and these sweet mermaids will no longer be available.  Be sure to check out all the Sweet November goodness at 7 Kids.  I think you’ll be glad you did!

Thought Of You Today And Smiled

Happy National Scrapbooking Day to you, my crafty friends!  In honor of this special day, I will be posting two cards.  This first one is Loire, one of the four mermaid beauties just released by Sweet November  at 7 Kids Crafts.  I cannot tell you how fun these digital images are to create with!  The tails can be matched with the mermaid of your choice.  And there’s also lovely scene builders available to help you get as creative as you wish!  I chose to color a simple background for Loire, as I didn’t want to take away from her loveliness.  I also used Nuvo Crystal Drops for the beads in her headband.  And it just so happens they are discounted 20% at 7 Kids.  Just enter the code MAMA when you check out.  And that’s it for this post, but I’ll be back with another soon!  Stay tuned!

Hello It’s a Beautiful Day

Greetings!  I’m up today for 7 Kids, and am super excited to share Nixie from the new Sweet November  digital release, Surfacing.  There are four beauties in this set that are unique, and so fun to create with!  I’m looking forward to coloring all of them, but I loved Nixie so much that I colored her twice!  (See yesterday’s post).
This particular scene is influenced by Sandy Allnock’s Underwater Scenes classes.  Sandy is a fabulous teacher!  And, I thought Nixie was perfect for this bubbly water scene.  I hope you enjoy!

Sending You Sunshine

Good day to you!  My project today was definitely a learning experience!  7 Kids had their monthly Sweet November  digital release called Surfacing.  Four beautiful and unique mermaids to choose from, as well as lovely scene builders.  I really enjoy the versatility that digital images afford when I’m in the planning stages of creating my scene.  Too much fun!
To introduce her release, Amy Young does two days of live coloring in the 7 Kids Facebook Group.  If you’ve not been able to join in, I would encourage you to do so.  Amy’s a great teacher, and so generous with her knowledge.  Yesterday I made time to color along with her during her live, and it was the first time I attempted coloring dark skin.  It was challenging, but I’m determined to keep practicing!  I hope you enjoy my attempt at coloring Nixie, and be sure to check out the other gorgeous beauties at 7 Kids!

Hello There!

Wow, the weekend sure did fly by!  It was a lovely Easter weekend, filled with lots of delicious food, treats, and gorgeous weather!  My husband and I went for a hike after dinner, and an Easter Bunny crossed our trail!  So fun!  I hope your Easter was blessed as well!

Hello Sweet Friend

It’s that time again at 7 Kids!  So hard to believe how fast a month goes by, but I’m excited about Sweet November’s March release!  These darling little Brownies interact beautifully, and the scene builders lend to creating with great success and satisfaction.  Today I chose to color Marigold and Bramwell, sweet friends having a lovely time.  The Brownie’s home, and flower spray are also a part of the March release.  I really had fun putting this together, and can’t wait to build more scenes with all the options offered in this set of images!  I hope you enjoy, and are able to check out the fun at 7 Kids!

Hello friends!  I have a quick post for you today.  I chose to color another Love Bug from Sweet November’s open vault.  These little cuties are addictive!  They color up quickly, and look at that sweet face!  Who wouldn’t adore a cute little Love Bug for Valentines Day?

Greetings!  I’m up today at 7 Kids Crafts, and am excited to share “By Your Side” .  This lovely digital image is created by Sweet November  and is part of the latest release at 7 Kids.  I knew as soon as I laid eyes on this image that it would be perfect for my husband.  Such a sweet scene, and a joy to create with.  I did the sky prior to coloring the lovebirds.  It was a hot mess for a minute as it crept into the image.  But in the end, I was pleased with the continuity of the horizon.  It was light enough that it didn’t impact the finished design.  I hope you enjoy, and I also hope it is a Valentine that makes my husband feel loved! ♥️

Well, good day to you fine crafty people!  I have a quick post for you today.  7 Kids just had their monthly Sweet November release, and I can’t stop coloring!  Peppy the Penguin is one of the characters of the collection that I adore.  He’s just so darn happy!  And, since Sweet November  is all digital stamps, it was easy to duplicate and flip Peppy any which way I wanted.  So now there’s three on my card today!  It was a crazy fun project, and I think you’d love coloring Peppy as well!  He is available at the new 7 Kids Craft Store.  Check it out, have a great day, and thank you for stopping by!
