What a wonderful world

Hello! Another very chilly day, but it's nice and toasty in my craft room! Today's guest is one of CC Design's darling images titled "Rustic Sugar Windy Day Cinnamon". Just love this sweet character! She's got herself all bundled up, ready and ever so grateful to take on the day!  I chose a CAS layout, so as not to distract from her cuteness. All in all, I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. Hey There

Hello! It's been pouring buckets of rain the last few days - outstanding opportunity to get crafty! Actually, I grew up in the Seattle area, so it's a comfort thing to me. My mom's craft when the weather kept you inside, was cooking and baking. So rainy days conjure up all kinds of lovely memories. But my craft of choice on this gray day was to color a Tickled Pink digital image, "Eric", from CC Designs. Love this long lanky guy - cool and confident.  This ended up being a great "guy card", and lots of fun to color.

Bloom Where You're Planted

This little Pixie from C.C. Designs is such a cutey sittin' in that flower pot; I just couldn't resist coloring her up! I created a simple background with Tim Holtz distressed ink, and applied water to add interest.  It was also a great opportunity to utilize a coloring tutorial by Debra James.  Just love how beautifully she created the look of copper - and thought it would be fun to apply on the little pot in this image.
