Happy Friday to you! I hope you’re enjoying the holiday season, and sneaking in a bit of crafty time here and there!
Today I’ve decided to reach for my Lavinia stamps, and I’m so glad I did! I haven’t had a chance to stamp up Zamira yet, so was happy to finally get her on a card. I started by blending a background with Distress Oxides, being sure to securely mask the moon as my first step. Once I completed the blending, I removed the mask and did a light sweep over the moon with Dusty Concord. I love the look of a wispy cloud softly shading the moon. Finally, I stamped my lovely Lavinia stamps to create the peaceful scene I was hoping for. I hope you like it as well. There is such a beautiful selection of Lavinia Stamps at 7 Kids. Be sure to check out all the crafty inspiration - I think you’ll be glad you did!
Thank you for stopping by, and I wish for you and yours a Happy and Peaceful NewYear!
Distress Oxides: Peacock Feather, Cracked Pistachio, Mowed Lawn, Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire
Lavinia Stamps: Zamira, Fairy Bugs, Whimsical Whisps
VersaFine Clair Ink: Nocturne
This is the place where I share my Copic card creations. It's always been a great learning experience for me when other artists share their work, so I'd like to do the same. Hope you enjoy!

Snowflake Kisses
Hello! The minute my Hello Bluebird “First Snow” order from 7 Kids arrived in my mailbox, I could not wait to get creative with it! And this little penguin immediately stole my heart. Isn’t he just the cutest? I started by masking the penguin so I could blend the background with Distress Oxide Inks. I used a template created by die cutting to form the snow covered hills. I then diluted white acrylic paint with water, and used a paint brush to splatter the snowfall. Once the mask was removed, I used my Copic markers to bring this darling penguin to life. He’s just loving that soft snow surrounding him!
This stamp set is so versatile. I love that it can be used for Christmas cards, and post Christmas greetings as well! My guess is that you would be just as inspired as I have been if this sweet stamp set landed in your mailbox! Be sure to check out all the inspiration at 7 Kids!

Peace On Earth
Happy Friday to you! I’m traveling this week, so have a quick post for you today. My design is simple and softly touched with color. And I love it. I began my project by die cutting the hills with pieces of scrap paper, and using them as guides for ink blending. I then continued with additional soft colors to complete the horizon. Finally, I pulled out my Lavinia stamps and chose to fill the hillsides with these lovely trees. I love working with Lavinia Stamps. And 7 Kids has a fabulous selection, where you’ll find an abundance of beauty and inspiration!

Wishing You A Season Of Blessings
Hello! Today I’ve colored Pine Fairy, one of Sweet November’s Christmas Fairies from the recent December digital release at 7 Kids. I’ve really enjoyed coloring these fairies. Amy’s (the artist) extensive experience as a colorist provides the crafter with images that are incredibly fun and rewarding to color. Additionally, with each of Amy’s releases, she takes the time to do live tutorials on the 7 Kids Facebook Group. And it’s so much fun! I hope you get the opportunity to nab one of these lovely fairies for your holiday cards. They will surely make the recipient smile. And, I hope you have a relaxing and crafty weekend! Thank you for stopping by!

Wishing You All The Wonder
Oh my goodness. Have you seen Sweet November’s December release at 7 Kids? The most darling Christmas Fairies that are so fun to create with! Today I’ve colored Holly Fairy, and I just love her! She’s busy decorating frosty sills with holly boughs. And based on the smile on her face, I think she’s having a lovely time! The background was inspired by Sandy Allnock. I recently purchased her mini Copic Course, Holiday Interiors, and I’m really enjoying the fresh ideas she offers in this course! I chose to create an outdoor view of this window vs. indoor, which Sandy always encourages. Get creative with what you learn!
That’s all I have for today. My goal is to color all these fabulous fairies, so stay tuned!

Have Yourself A Merry
Greetings! Another adventurous week just flew by, wouldn’t you agree? Thanksgiving at my house was filled with blessings, and challenges as well. My husband got the nasty flu. And it’s been nasty! I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so sick! As well, my 97 year old dear momma is under Hospice care. This is the first year, since I can remember, that she hasn’t been at my table. But we visited, prayed, and she hugged on a soft teddy bear I brought for her. And, most importantly, she’s warm, comfortable, and has had a life filled with good and funny things to talk about. Blessings. So I felt this image, Dreamerland’s A Beary Big Hug (available at 7 Kids), was the perfect portrayal of what I am most grateful for this season: hearts filled with love for each other. I truly enjoyed creating this scene, and I hope you enjoy it as well! As always, wishing you a lovely and relaxing weekend with family and friends!

Joy to the World
So, this week just flew by! I barely managed to fit in a little crafty time, but I’m happy to report that I squeezed it in! It’s time for the Sweet November vault opening at 7 Kids. These lovely little Angel Babies are available until Monday, 12/2. And, I simply adore them! Just look at those sweet faces! Amy does such an amazing job of incorporating joy into her images, and these darling angels are no exception. I started my project by masking the angels and blending the clouds in the background with Catherine Pooler Inks. And I had such a great time bringing the Angel Babies to life with Copics. This card was a lot of fun, and I have the perfect person in mind to send it to. Hope you enjoy, and, be sure to nab one of these cuties before the vault closes! Have a fabulous weekend!

Sweet Christmas Wishes
Hi there, my crafty friends! Thank you for stopping by. It has been a relaxing, craft-filled day in my house, and I’m loving it. I hope you’re enjoying your day as well!
Today I’ve colored Hello Bluebird’s Cocoa Party, (and die companion set) using the Winter Woods Overlay Die to finish the background scene. I just adore these cocoa loving critters in their cozy sweaters. There’s nothing quite like a hot cup of cocoa, with friends, when winter weather encroaches.
I used Copics to color this little scene, with Catherine Pooler Inks blended in the background. This was truly a fun project, and I hope you get a chance to nab these sets at the 7 Kids Store, and have a bit of crafty fun yourself!

Merry Christmas
Hello! I’m having SO much fun getting crafty with Sweet November’s latest digital release, Very Merrwee Christmas, available at 7 Kids Craft Store! The release includes five mini bundles that can be used together to create various Christmas scenarios. Today I’ve combined Santa’s Bundle with the Noe Bundle to create this fun Christmas greeting. ‘Tis the Season
Hello, and Happy Friday! Welcome to the November digital stamp release for Sweet November Stamps at 7 Kids! This month we are starting the holiday season with a Very Merrwee Christmas release. There are five mini bundles that can be used together to create various Christmas scenes. Today I’ve used the Noe Bundle, and the Ming Ming Bundle, which include the gift packages. I also used the Cookie Tray from the Mrs. Claus Bundle. It was a fun scene to put together! I also colored along with Amy’s live today, which provided me with all kinds of inspiration! If you’ve not had the opportunity to color along with Amy’s lives in the 7 Kids Facebook Group, I would recommend you give it a try. She is an excellent colorist, and so generous with her artistic knowledge. It’s just a lot of fun!

Have Yourself
Hello! Welcome to this month’s Sweet November Vault release at 7 Kids! There is a fun Gingy collection of gingerbread pals available through the end of the day tomorrow, the 25th. This little Gingy is busy decorating a lovely tree. But shhhh.... it’s a surprise! He has snuck into Mr. and Mrs. Clause’s home at the North Pole, while they are sleeping, to ensure their tree will be beautifully adorned when they wake! He’s having so much fun getting into the spirit of Christmas!
I used Sweet November’s Gingy with Popcorn, and the tree from North Pole Snapshots to create this scene. Again, Gingy is available through tomorrow, but the tree is available through the end of the year. I always have fun creating with Sweet November images, and I’m certain you would too! Thank you, as always, for visiting my blog. And have a fabulous weekend!

You’re Bootiful
Another Friday! Before you know it, we’ll be seeing frightful and fun trick-or-treaters out and about filling their bags with candy. I love the excitement and creativity that goes into Halloween night. It was one of the things I looked most forward to as a child. Needless to say, I love coloring Halloween scenes as a card maker! Today I’ve colored a fun scene from the Hello Bluebird Halloween Party stamp set, which I’m sorry to say is currently out of stock at 7 Kids. I stamped and masked my critters first, and then blended the background with Distress Oxides. And how fun it was to remove the masks and bring these little bunnies to life with my Copics! I hope you enjoy this little scene. Have a restful, crafty weekend!

Jump For Joy
Hello! Today I chose to color Oh Nuts! This sweet stamp set from Hello Bluebird is filled with darling fall treasures. This set is not currently available at 7 Kids, but their is plenty of HB goodness to choose from! I started my project by stenciling clouds with Picket Fence Distress Ink, and then blended several colors of Catherine Pooler Inks to complete the background. The CP inks blend beautifully, and I just love the colors! I then colored the leaves and squirrel with my Copics, fussy cut, and built my scene. I adore the joy of this little critter getting ready to land on his colorful pile of leaves. The fall story I never seem to tire of! I hope this little scene makes you smile, and that you’ll get a chance to be crafty this weekend!

Boo From Me to You
Some weeks fly by so quickly, and this was definitely one of those weeks! But, definitely the highlight of this week was the October Sweet November digital release at 7 Kids. A fabulous celebration of Halloween with the introduction of three elegant Ladies of All Hallow’s Eve. Today I’ve colored the Vampiress Mircea, a mysterious and beautiful Mistress of the Night emerging from the shadows to capture the attention of the most unsuspecting. I adore these lovely images, and they are so rewarding to create with. I think you would love having them in your collection!
Thank you for stopping by. I have a houseful of company this weekend, so off I go! Have a lovely weekend, my friends!

You’re A Spooktacular Friend
Happy Friday! I’ve got another Boo creation from the Sweet November Vault at 7 Kids. Meet Boo Loves Scary Larry, and Boo’s Batty Banner. These are the cutest little ghosts, don’t you think? These cuties are available until the 1st of October, at which time they will disappear into the vault once again. I’ve also added The Spooky Tree, and Full Moon to the scene, and these are from last year’s SN release. They will also be going into the vault at the end of the month, so you better nab them before they’re gone! Have a fabulous weekend, my crafty friends!

Happy Halloween Boo’s Pumpkin
Hello! I hope you’re enjoying your weekend! Have you heard that it’s time for the Sweet November Vault release at 7 Kids? This month SN has brought back the oh so sweet Boo, and I personally don’t think I’ve met a cuter ghost! There are three different Boo images available in this release, but remember the vault is open for a limited time. You have until the first of October to nab one of these cuties, and then they disappear back into the vault once again.
Today I chose to color Boo’s Pumkin. I decide to fussy cut him and pair him with a few pieces of Halloween paper I found in my stash. I just love how simple this was to put together, and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. This one is going in the mail to my grandson, and I think it will make him smile. Can’t get any better than that, right? I hope you’ll get the opportunity to create with these darling ghosts as well. Boo!

Happy Halloween
Hello, and Happy Friday! Today I’ve decided to get back to the Halloween theme by coloring If You’ve Got It Haunt It, by Picket Fence Studios. I love the sketchy look of these spooky witches. I tried to follow the same style of pumpkins the witches are holding when creating the pumpkin patch. And I thought a moonlit night scene would be the perfect stage for these lovelies to harvest. It was a fun scene to create, and I hope you enjoy. Be sure to check out the Picket Fence Studios selection at 7 Kids. Have a great weekend, my friends!

Adventure Awaits You
Hello! What a busy week I’ve had. I journeyed over to the other side of the state to watch my granddaughter for a few days, and loved every minute of it. But it was a tough week for fitting in crafty time! Tough maybe, but not impossible! So with the time I did manage to squeeze in, I chose to create a scene with Lavinia stamps. I started by creating a background with my gel plate using Catherine Pooler Inks. I then stamped The Crow Set and Silhouette Thistle with VersaFine Clair Nocturne. Aren’t these two stamp sets lovely together? I then softened and framed the scene by blending Distress Ink around the edge, Finally, I decided to use a circle stencil to blend a moon to highlight the crow. I love how this turned out. Clean and simple for sure, but I think effective.
Thank you for stopping by. Be sure to check out the beautiful selection of Catherine Pooler inks and Lavinia stamps at 7 Kids!

Being Your Friend Is a Treat
Have you had the opportunity to see the adorable Sweet November WitchWees yet? The September SN digital release at 7 Kids is bringing in the season with an abundance of cuteness! Today I chose to color Rowena and Jack O’Lantern. I think Rowena used a wee bit of magic to get her friend up on that branch with her. She was determined to share her star and moon gazing adventure with a friend! It was fun bringing out the fall colors. I hope you enjoy, and be sure to check out these darling images available at 7 Kids!

You Say Witch
Halfway through another week already! I hope you’re having a fabulous one! Today I’ve colored Picket Fence Studios’ “Witch, Please”, available at 7 Kids. Love this pretty witch, and it was so easy to design her into a card! I blended ink on design paper for the background, and I love how it turned out. I typically use plain white card stock when I blend, but it’s nice how the subtle pattern in the paper created the perfect surface for the moon. It was fun experimenting a little! The broom, hat, and top of the dress is already blocked with color, so I chose black ink. Finally, I added a splash of color to her hair and accessories. A fun and little bit spooky card, don’t you think?
